Gibson Art Museum Opening – 2025.09.20

Designed by Toronto-based architect Siamak Hariri, who joined the West Coast Modern League earlier this year to give a public talk at Inform Interiors entitled Attractors: 30 Years On, the Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum on Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby Campus will open on the afternoon of Saturday, September 20th.
They will open their doors with the exhibition Edge Effects, featuring artists Lorna Brown; Justine A. Chambers; Patrick Cruz; Lucien Durey; Sameer Farooq with Jared Stanley; Elisa Ferrari; Germaine Koh; Liz Magor; Cindy Mochizuki; Pietro Sammarco with Helena Krobath, Liz Toohey-Wiese, and students at University Highlands Elementary; Debra Sparrow; Jin-me Yoon; and works from the SFU Art Collection.
