Join Marianne Amodio + Harley Grusko Architects (MA+HG) at Vancouver Special for the launch of their new book, The Union Project.
The publication functions as a visual and material repository of MA+HG Architects Union project: a restoration and infill project that transformed a 100+ year-old heritage home into a five-unit development for the homeowner and her family, completed in 2020.
The book is a curated assemblage of images that collectively articulate the conceptual, spatial, and material processes explored through the design, documentation, permitting and construction of the project, and was first exhibited in uncollated form at the “Emerging from Architecture” exhibition, sponsored by the Architectural Foundation of British Columbia at the Burrard Arts Foundation in November 2021.
