Thursday the 12th of November, 5pm to 7pm
Join Inform Interiors on Thursday the 12th as they celebrate the launch of Francisco Kripacz by Arthur Erickson. Please RSVP to [email protected] to ensure entry.
The Erickson Design Collection, featured in this book, is being brought into manufacture, with many items becoming available for the first time. The launch of this collection, which they had hoped to achieve in their lifetimes, along with this book is a beautiful legacy to the working partnership of a charismatic and passionate artistic duo – a last testament from a remarkable architect to the man who shared in his greatest achievements.
The launch will include select furnishings from the collection and a presentation by Geoffrey Erickson of images from the book and the incredible world these great designers shared. The book was designed and edited by Geoffrey Erickson, with Jess Sullivan of Figure 1 Publishing. Geoffrey is a nephew of Arthur Erickson and was encouraged by him and Francisco to study interior design. He graduated from OCAD and worked in his late uncle’s Toronto office, before starting his own design consulting practice there. Now he is the director of the arthurerickson.com website and the Erickson Design Collection. Geoffrey helped produce the book “The Architecture of Arthur Erickson” in 1985, and is now working on another book “Eppich House 2”, about the Erickson-designed steel house.
