Design Victoria Festival is a four day festival celebrating the city and the island’s growing design community. Their aim is to bring together different parts of the creative community and show the value of good design. During the festival, events happen across the city and beyond, organized by Design Victoria’s partners. These include special installations, exhibitions, events, open houses, tours and workshops – and the official Launch Party.

On May 3rd, join the West Coast Modern League for “On the Boards,” an ongoing speaker series that celebrates the creative works and talents of local designers who are carrying forward the fertile culture of creativity and experimentation on Canada’s west coast. With a shared belief in approaching architecture and landscape as a cohesive whole, we will be joined by Julian Carnrite of WOVEN Architecture and Design, and Bruce Greenway of Greenway Studio Architecture, each presenting projects recently completed or currently underway.
